Students of all ages are encouraged to adopt a regular and consistent training schedule of 2-3 days per week. Consistency is key, so making martial arts a part of your regular routine (and sticking to it) through the ebs and flows of life is the best way to reach your fitness or martial arts goals.
We do offer additional training options for die-hards and advanced ranks, those testing for black belt and students with other special needs or that maybe just want a little extra time with an instructor!
Kids under 6 years old are developing rapidly both physically and psychologically. In order to maximize their growth & recovery we have found the best formula for success to be attending one formal class per week, and encouraging parents to sprinkle quick mini sessions throughout the rest of the week focusing on what was taught in class. This is very simple to do and we provide an outline for you!
Our Pre-K programs are specially designed to develop good habits and fundamentals such as focus, coordination and self control. Parents who are able to create and maintain a consistent training schedule for their young children, long term (i.e. 6 months to a year or more), see the best results all around.
Plus, our Tigers excel very quickly once they advance into our youth classes which is always super exciting for parents to see!

Kuk Sool Won™ Martial Arts simply translates to “National Martial Art Association” of Korea, but there is no specific focus on kicks, throws, fighting or grappling. That being said, depending on your own experience level, you may recognize some similar aspects of other more well known martial arts styles such as Judo, Hapkido, JuJitsu, Karate or Kung Fu – and the main difference is that Kuk Sool Won™ Martial Arts is it’s own “system” (not style) of martial arts training. It is in essence a complete study of the Korean martial arts.
Students with black belts in other arts often say that practicing Kuk Sool Won™ Martial Arts helps them to increase their understanding of body mechanics and enhance their training experience overall.
