Christa Wilson - Instructor

Christa Wilson is a licensed instructor and member of the World Kuk Sool™ Association. A 3rd degree black belt, and Pacific Coast Grand Champion, she has enjoyed training and competing at tournaments around the world. Christa also has a background in business and has worked as a paralegal for a local law firm here in Southern California for the past 12 years.

Originally, it was the desire for a fun, physical fitness regime that attracted Christa to Kuk Sool Won™ Martial Arts. But, she quickly fell in love with the family/community aspect of the association as well as the intricacies and traditions of the martial art itself. She started training later than most at age 20 and the rest is history.

Christa most enjoys working with children and she loves watching them grow up into young leaders in their classes and in the world.

Michelle Lane - Instructor

Michelle began training in Kuk Sool Won™ Martial Arts at the age of 8. She had tried other martial arts classes before but hadn’t found them to be a good fit for her. After her first class at Kuk Sool Won™ of El Dorado Hills with Master Justin Painter, she was hooked and continued to train consecutively for 10 years, earning the rank of 2nd Degree Black Belt (Kyo Sa Nim).

Michelle attributes her current discipline, dedication, and athleticism to her Martial Arts training as a child. During her time training, Michelle won the honor of receiving Grand Champion at 3 Pacific Coast Tournaments.

Michelle and her husband Chris are the owners of Summit Fitness in Covina, the new home to Kuk Sool Won™ Martial Arts & Fitness. Michelle is an NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist and also holds certifications as a RockTape Functional Movement Techniques Specialist, and Pre/Post Natal Women’s Fitness Specialist.
